Dr. Jinu John is a cardiologist dedicated to delivering compassionate care to patients with abnormal cardiac rhythms. As a cardiac electrophysiologist, he focuses on the appropriate treatment of arrhythmias using advanced techniques such as catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (including Pulsed Field Ablation), left atrial appendage closure device (Watchman) implantation, and ablation of SVT, PVC/VT. He also specializes in the implantation and extraction of various cardiac devices, including leadless pacemakers.
Dr. John did his medical school at Government Medical College in Kottayam, India, and completed his General Medicine residency at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. He then advanced his training in the USA starting 2009 , completing an Internal Medicine residency and a Cardiology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center, NY, followed by a two-year fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at William Beaumont Hospital, MI.
A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society, Dr. John is also a Cardiac Device Specialist certified by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners. His awards include the University First Rank and Gold Medal in General Medicine from Manipal University, Resident Achievement Award from Maimonides Medical Center, and recognition as one of the 2024 Top Doctors by New Hampshire Magazine.
Dr. John has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and participates in FDA-approved clinical trials including pulsed field ablation and left atrial appendage closure devices. Outside of his professional work, he spends time with his family, and plays table tennis and badminton, and has taken up skiing since moving to New Hampshire in 2017.
