After growing up in central New York, Dr. Bleakley attended Colgate University, graduating in 1987. He then attended Vanderbilt University receiving his Medical Degree in 1993. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY, followed by Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Rochester. In between training, Dr. Bleakley served four years on active duty in the United States Air Force and deployed overseas in 2004 as a member of the Critical Care Air Transport Team in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Dr. Bleakley joined New England Heart and Vascular Institute in 2006 and has been involved in providing cardiology care throughout New Hampshire. He has a special interest in interventional cardiology and structural cardiology was well as general cardiology.
Dr. Bleakley lives in Bedford NH. He has four sons and has been actively involved in their activities, including football, hockey, and lacrosse.
