Jamie H. Kim, MD FACC
Dr. Jamie Kim has been practicing clinical cardiac electrophysiology in New Hampshire since 2006 and is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Voted by his peers, he has been designated a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2020.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Yale University and medical degree from Tufts University. After completing his Internal Medicine residency at Tufts, he completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University where he was awarded the Haffenreffer Fellowship Award for outstanding performance.
Dr. Kim has served as Medical Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Catholic Medical Center. As an expert in the treatment of abnormal heart rhythms, he specializes in performing complex procedures such as catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, left atrial appendage closure to reduce stroke risk in patients with atrial fibrillation who have difficulty taking blood thinners, and implantation of cardiac implantable electronic devices for treatment of slow heart rhythms and to reduce the risk of sudden cardiac arrest.
His role as an investigator in numerous clinical trials have contributed to new innovations in the field of electrophysiology such as Pulsed Field Ablation, next generation Watchman TM and left atrial appendage closure devices, leadless pacing, and devices for patients with congestive heart failure. He has authored numerous publications in peer reviewed journals and has served as a proctor to train other physicians in the U.S., Canada, China, and Japan in the implantation of Watchman, subcutaneous defibrillatorimplantation, and high density mapping and ablation of complex arrhythmias.
